READ, LEARN, AND PASS IT ON
I wrote this originally as a commentary on a friend's blog entry entitled "Insecurity and Judgement....... dammit!" Please go to

Realizing that everything in this world is fleeting and, ultimately, utterly insignificant should be literally hammered into every single human being's brain. Only then will we be able to transcend this world, this pain, this lopsided universe that seems to be so hopelessly confused, it doesn't know whether to expand or contract (current quantum physics has actually proved that BOTH conditions are happening!!!)
All the great sages and enlightened people of our time, not to mention The Son Of God Himself all agree: Don't look at the things of this world, because THERE IS something out there, something utterly better than this shithole we're living in.
What is my point in bringing this up, you might ask. My point is this: People have a limited scope of reality. What we need is to STOP being confused.If we realize that THE WHOLE IS MORE THAN THE SUM OF THE PARTS, we'd all be better off. And if we keep looking up (meaning looking towards heaven, eternal life, nirvana, whatever you want to call it), we will notice less of our own physical flaws, and more of the rich rewards of times to come. It's a simple enough formula. We need to apply it, and I can tell you, we will become LESS JUDGEMENTAL, MORE APPRECIATIVE, and eventually BE ENLIGHTENED.
To close, I would like to tell you how I see You. I see you as a Being. You are someone who EXISTS, who IS. I don't see you as "just a skinny white boy from the 'burbs" or "fat old chinese cow who own the smelly corner market." I see you wholly, more than the sum of your parts (physical or otherwise). I see You. Pass it on.
